I have a few pairs of Denim & Co trouser jeans. They were sold 4 years or so ago. As some posters have said, they are dressier, solid color with shading, straight leg or even slight bootcut. But the way they were designed were the clue - no top stitching, no jeans pockets, and most importantly, they had an actual hem, mine had an inch hem, not a turned over top stitched hem. They also had a refined waist band.
I loved Laurie Felt silky denim for her attention to design and the fabric was indeed silky to touch, and soft, not stiff or harsh as some other denims. Most other QVC denims such as Belle, D & C, Logo, etc are the stiff and thick denim. I think possibly Renee Greenstein might have a similar denim but I haven't bought any jeans in several years.

A year ago I ordered A636561 Studio Park x Leah Williams Denim Trouser Jeans in Dark Wash in regular length to try and love the fit of these jeans. Don't know if this item will be back in stock only a few remain in the Tall length.

@wilma wrote:My trouser jean looks like a trouser but the material is a refined dark wash denim. No distressing, no whiskering, no contrast stitching. It has trouser style slash pockets on the front & besom pockets on the bum. The pant is fitted on the waist, bum, and hip with a wider leg all the way down. It's not super wide - don't care for that style. I like to iron a vertical crease down the center of each leg for a more polished look.
My original pair was from Macy's Charter Club brand, but those were too tight so I sold them to a consignment store. I bought a new pair ar Marshall's - d.jeans brand.
Got 2 pairs in my closet. ![]()

This is exactly what I was wondering @faeriemoon . I remember folks posting pics of Lisa in what they called her Gumby pants and they sure looked like "trouser jeans."
