I prefer a looser fit so I wear boot cut yoga pants. They're not as prevalent as leggings but I can still find them.  Lately I've been wearing Jockey brand which are also cotton (see below).  I usually go up in size so they aren't so tight.  It's nice to have variety so each person can get what works for them.

Funny you should write that about bootcut yoga pants. I recently ordered some pants from Penny's to run in cold weather and apparently don't know how to read. Not only are they bootcut they are lined with a heavy fleece. I wore them for a run with one of my dils and she said "oh mom, I thought we threw out all your bootcut running pants. How did we miss those?"

Had to laugh as they really are not very attractive. I may keep them for yard work if I can keep my dil from tossing them. Hey...they cost less than 10 bucks ... so a fab deal.

I have several pairs of Danskin bootcut yoga pants form Walmart. They changed the name to 'Athletic Works' but it's the same exact fit. They come petite and regular but not talls. Love the fit, not tight and very comfortable.

Boot cut pants.  I bought into the advice from the old tv show, What Not to Wear.  I got myself boot cut, convinced I would look better in them.  Saw a picture of myself in them and was horrified at how terrible I looked.

Only slim leg for me.  

I am happy that so many styles are avaible.   We can each wear what works best for us.

Yeah, it was funny. I lost some weight last year and my two dils came over to "help me" purge clothes that were too big. Out went lot of faded black yoga pants and I was informed I looked better in straight leg pants. Well I know that, but I am frugal and I am not trying to wow anyone with my workout clothes.

The demi bootcut is not too bad. But I had a lot of the bootcut yoga pants that were just too flared out at the bottom and it is just not a good look on my frame or with running shoes.  

Now a demi bootcut jean worn with boots IS a look I can pull off... if the heel on boot is high enough.
