To tuck or not to tuck -- that is the question

Do you tuck tops of any kind into your jeans or pants? If so, do you use a belt?

Do you half-tuck? If so, how do you do it? I ask this especially because there must be an art to looking so casual or sloppy (meant in a good way).

I woudn't mind doing a little half tucking, but with my obsessive-compulsive mind, I'd be trying to get it just perfect, which seems to defeat the whole intended slouch look. :-)

Not a tucker.  I guess because I don't like to feel constricted.

I'm not a Tucker. I have a short torso and an undefined waist. Not a flattering look for me and kind of too buttoned up conservative for my taste.

I do a half tuck occasionally. I do the tuck more to the side and then pull it out some so it kind of blouses over the waistband.  Then walk away! I tend to obsess sometimes too @suzyQ3!

You know that commercial with the animated bladder dragging a woman off to the bathroom incessantly?  Well, that’s me...I’d spend too much time trying to get that half tuck in place🤣🤭😂

Plus, I don’t have the figure for tucked-in tops.  I am considering buying a low-slung belt though.

Half tucking just says to me you can't remember to tuck, don't have the energy to tuck, or simply don't give a darn.  Tucking looks really retro to me too in most cases.

I like the half-tuck look.

I don't tuck because I'm short with a short torso and a larger bust. If I tuck, the shirt comes down under my rear end and leaves a lot of bulk. (If you think a panty line is unbecoming, just imagine half a shirt stuffed into pants. Awful!)  It's easier for me to avoid items that usually get tucked in, like button-down shirts, and opt for things like light sweaters or a tank or camisole with a light cardigan I can button at the bottom to cover the tank top.

Never. Ever. The worst look for my body shape that there is.

I do a low slung belt over a long top sometimes @tansy

I think it helps lengthen the look of my torso a bit.
