Thanks, Lola.  I have been busy taking care of the same cast of charaters as always.  We are getting ready to get father in law out of nursing home and care for him ourselves with some assistance from an additional caregiver.

Thank you.  It is good to have even a tiny bit of free time to check in here from time to time.  Today I am wallpapering my dining room - replacing an awful old lady baroque stripe with a soothing no-pattern solid.

I have some experience wall papering and a solid design is the way to go.

@Favorite Son...You have so much more patience than me...I could never wallpaper a room...I was just wondering, since you are replacing your wallpaper with a soothing no-pattern solid, why not just paint the dining room in a nice soft, soothing color...so much easier.

In our previous home, every room had walllpaper so, when we moved to our present home, I went with paint in every room and there is no looking back...I think we "wallpapered" ourselves out!...lol
