Re: Tired of Shawn and Isaac talking over each other.

Issacs show is the only one I watch and with that, I mute it because of Shawn's silliness and juvenile way of speaking. Issac is so much better with just about any other host. Just love him!

Shawn should be embarrassed constantly asking Isaac -- what does that mean, how do you say that, I don't know what that is, etc. She has the vocabulary of a grammer school kid unless she thinks this act is cute. I hope so, otherwise she is embarrassing herself.

I usually hate watching when the host and guest over each other (like Susan Graver with anyone) but I feel like Shawn and Isaac really like and enjoy each other and that makes watching more fun.

Instead of talking as a adult, shawn talks like a complete child. If she thinks its nice,I have news for her. Many people have said the same, but the mang.team never says a word.I never watch any of her shows.Iaasc is great without her.

Re: Tired of Shawn and Isaac talking over each other.

When I hear Shawn ask a question about the fabric, the design, or any question, I believe she wants to educate the audience. Issac refers to the audience as "she" and Shawn speaks for "she" aka, the audience. If Issac did not appreciate Shawn, she would not host his shows. Some segments can be over the top but I enjoy the design ideas.

Re: Tired of Shawn and Isaac talking over each other.

I actually made a point to log on to this forum to see if others found last night's show as annoying as I did. I've watched Shawn and Isaac together on their Monday night show for years and have, for the most part, enjoyed the pairing. Granted, they are both quirky personalities, but I find myself laughing at many of Isaac's humorous comments, and I do love many of his designs.

Having said that - last night was a tipping point for me, as they were both over the top almost manic speaking over each other. And Shawn really had that teenage airhead "I'm really young, don't I look like I'm 22.." act going. What's up with her thinking she wears an XXS, anyway? (sidebar.. lol). I love it when Isaac diplomatically tries to tell her he prefers the way she looks in the size S. Smiley Wink

I vote for a regular Sandra Bennett and Isaac pairing on Monday nights.

Re: Tired of Shawn and Isaac talking over each other.

About the xxs, I had to laugh at the comment. I remember Shawn sporting one of Issac's cardigans and of course the buttons were pulling and gaping. Issac asked her what size she was wearing and she replied that she was an xxs, he said "really?" He replied that the sweater would fit more like he intended if she went up at LEAST one size maybe two. I just LOL! These hosts are just too funny with their vanity sizing.

It's so interesting that what annoys one person doesn't bother another. I'm sure that's why the shopping channels try to have a variety of personalities among their hosts and vendors.

I don't mind either Susan or Isaac and I'm not even getting into who annoys me most. Doesn't much matter since I wouldn't buy from any of them even if they changed - I either don't need what they sell or I just don't like what they sell.
