Thanks for posting the pics.  They're always fun to look at.  Of the pictures posted, I thought the best look went to Snoop.

Demi's dress is beautiful but the jacket around her shoulders takes away from the look.

Also what is with the gowns sweeping the floor.

@I am still oxox My thoughts exactly about Demi's jacket...Her dress is so beautiful though!

Interesting that for being "influencers" I haven't seen any talk about what contributions they have made, how they have helped the world, or what their "influence" is for.

If being in the gossip columns, being an athlete etc. are things we need to be "influenced" about, I'm unaware of it.  If making a spectacle of your self counts then I guess the list is relevent.

@Sooner

You have to buy that special edition copy of Time Magazine, which discusses their choices.

What exactly are your news sources for what people are doing on various projects?  None of us knows everything that any of these people are doing.

@Tinkrbl44 Thank you for making my point.  I do not read Time.  I don't read People.  I don't follow celebrities.  I don't think most average people do--so these people do not influence us.

They don't change my world, their opinions do not reflect in my financial decisions, faith, what I buy, think, wear, eat or drive. How would they "influence" my life? I have no need to know who they are.

I understand your point.

I agree that most of these people don't affect our lives DIRECTLY but they are making their mark in music, science, technology, etc.

Whether you read People, Time or no publications whatsoever, they are apparently making contributions that should be recognized.

Some of these people have what we'd call "promising careers" and we'll be hearing a lot more about them in the future.

Many clueless people who don't stay current will just ask "Who are they?" because they don't keep up.  That's your choice to make.

Oklahoma was fortunate to have Jalen as our quarterback for a brief time.  It worked out well for him and for us!  I wish we had more like him.
