I believe the key to Amy's success in prime time is for her to be more confident and accept herself as she is. She seems like a very nice person who lacks confidence and doesn't show her own unique personality. This is one of the basic requirements of a good host. I've felt that Sandra Bennett also had this problem, but she seems to have loosened up and is a much better host as a result.

Amy has all the attributes needed to host her new prime-time show as long as she shows her true self and accepts that she is good enough just as she is. That is my sermon for today. Ha, ha!

I don't get that she's not confident. What makes you feel she does not "accept herself."????

That's my impression from watching her, sparklestar. She IS good enough, but I think she strives to live up to an impossible standard when just loosening up and being herself is all that's needed.

Re: Thrilled For My Gal Amy!!

I think Amy is a fine host already and is worthy of her own show on prime time. I have never had to change the channel or mute a show that she was hosting. It doesn't all have to be about the host for he or she to be a watch worthy host. Amy doesn't live in a fantasy world so she won't bring those views to the QVC customer through her presentations.

I like Inspired Style. I always DVR it. She does a good job with that show.

I think Amy is really a cute and stylish woman. But, she needs to lower her Mickey Mouse voice and talk much more slowly. I had to put her on mute during her last show.
