Thoughts On Elastic In The Back Of A Garment...

I have purchased several tops lately that have had elastic in the back of the garment but I am finding that it makes my backside look like the side of a barn because the elastic hits above my natural waistline and makes the appearance of my backside look twice as large as it normally would...Not flattering at all...
