From Banana Republic Factory. Muir Woods is a national monument in CA, full of redwood trees. Someone from CA around here would know more about it.

When a color is given a "fashion" name, it's impossible to know what you have.  I have no idea why it is done.

The only way to understand color is to speak in the language of the color wheel.

Muir Woods is in Marin and has nice walking paths.  I don't see this color there at all.  Take a jacket, they are in a valley.

I'd call it rust although redwood would also be a good name for it.  I love that color and have a lot of it in my wardrobe.  It's fantastic with turquoise jewelry.

Logo has this color too.  Very pretty.  I don't remember what it is called, but I have it!

A close friend took me to Muir Woods during a visit to California. It was beautiful and so is the color of the sweater but I didn't see that color when walking on the trails.
