I noticed a lot of lacy and similar tops (especially tank and/or just sleeveless) styles last summer.  I even bought a  couple. 

 

I had a thread about it back then.  I rather like the lacy kind of shell under the contrast of a more "rugged" plaid shirt, kind of like this (and I'm not the age of that model anymore):

I think Denim & Co.'s Gary adding lace to his sweat shirts is a real loser. I expect they'll be on clearance soon, like the Q's l0% off.

Not only tops but I've also been seeing a lot of lace shorts on young girls and they look adorable!
