There seems to be a lot of lace on tops in women's clothes or

is this just my imagination? The tops I see women wearing on t.v., are either laced arms or the bodice has lace in it.  I was always always leary of catching lace on things.

Are more garments with lace now, or not?

I think so!  I like this look!  Always have.  Very elegant and femine, I think.

I have noticed it more with dresses than tops. I love lace.

Yep, there's tons of it in the stores right now.

I like a touch of lace, maybe in the sleeve or hemline, etc. I don't like the all-over lace look on me. It seems to overwhelm me, and besides, I'm more of a minimalist..

But lace is pretty, no matter how it's used.

Talbots has some lacy tops. Also the INC brand at Macys. And White House Black Market. I also saw some cute, inexpensive lacy tops at Penneys.

I love tops or dresses with lace accents. To me they're so pretty & feminine.

Lace in everyday fashions has been popular for several years now.  It doesn't snag because it's not the lace from years ago.  The modern fabrics allow them to make lace that is soft, comfortable, snag resistant and it has some stretch in it.  I have a couple of tees that I bought 2 summers ago that have  3/4 lace sleeves but that's as far as I go with lace.  I'm 56 and I can't move past the idea that lace is for "dress up".  Even though I know it isn't....

I love lacy tops. they go so well with a leather skirt or pants. DH bought me a Christmas present from Macy's, a black lace jacket with leather trim. Not sure you can see the detail in this photo, but you get the idea.

Yes, there is lots of lace out there right now.  I would wear an 100% lace item, but I don't mind a bit of it as a trim or embellishment on a top, dress, or skirt.
