There are some wines which have a rich warm tone to them. Often this may be called burgundy or claret, but it's still a shade of wine.  I can wear many shades of wine tones (regardless of the name it's given by the brand) and my coloring is true autumn warm.  It's when there is too much purple in the dye that a wine colored item takes on a funky look on me.

Thank you for agreeing, in part, with me.  I have the opposite.  I have to wear the ones with purplish-bluish invusion; I cannot wear the same as you  Others seem to think all wine is cool; it is not at all.
