I suspect that many of those aging naturally are actually those who have the best genes along with the most skilled and most artistic surgeons.

....Yes indeed. Not to mention that team of professional makeup artists it takes to give them that ""natural"" look.

You also don't see men criticising other men for such foolishness. What one woman does with her own body is her business and hers alone. Don't forget older women in the entertainment business have challenges and body image issues that we, thankfully, do not have. So, if plastic surgery boosts their self esteem or helps them get jobs, so be it. If they are happy with results, who are we to criticize?

Men are not foolish enough to ruin their face for vanity.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

More power to them. It is not my place to say if cosmetic surgery is neccessity. If a person feels like they need a lift, then GO FOR the GOLDEN RING....

I watched an interview this Sunday morning with Eva Marie St. She is well into her 70's or more.

She is beautiful! She has never had anything done to her face. The young man asked her about that. She said her family a long time ago asked her not to do anything to her face and she agreed.

She is so graceful and so beautiful.

I saw that also, a wonderful interview....and a true "STAR".....a well as a beautiful lady.

Don't single out women. How about Kenny Rogers and Mickey Rourke. Two examples of totally botched plastic surgeries.

....and playing word games. I believe that she hasn't had a face lift but she's had other cosmetic procedures. And there's nothing wrong with that. Good genes and lipstick can only take us so far.

I think actresses like Meg Ryan must have a distorted view of themselves if they think they look better after surgery than their naturally aging selves. She was so cute and now the pictures of her are almost shocking.

You're right, Kenny Rogers and Mickey Rourke. Another two almost unrecognizable.

For those who think M. Streep hasn't had anything done, you need to look again. Maybe she isn't maxed out on the Botox like Kidman, but she definitely does something.

I agree: I imagine almost all of them have at least the bare minimum of botoxing and fillers. I think they're the smart ones.... I think if you're going to have work done, you should have it done while still young enough that your skin has elasticity. But DON'T go for getting all of your money's worth by having it too tight. A little for the natural and pretty look.
