That tunic is really nice! I'm trying to curb my clothing purchases right now, and that one made me almost cave. Hope you like it!

45 dollars is a good price point but add s&h plus taxes and that's what has effectively curbed my Q impulse buys.

I almost bought that top--too expensive for poly after s/h and tax. But, it's one of the few GILI items I could see liking. I only own a few now.

Re: The lisa show is on! Who's watching?

Why do most of the shows only show about 6 items? I want to see shorter presentations and more products. I don't get it.

I went and looked at the items on air last night and most shows are that way any more.

how else are hosts supposed to show the texture of the cream without putting their fingers in it. all the hosts do this.

But she is the only one who says there now it is mine and belongs in my basket. I heard her say this on other shows.

I love that type of necklace but not at those prices, I would rather it be in costume jewelry.

Lisa does that a lot which is rather ""greedy"" as she must get tons of samples/preview items from all the (or potential vendors) anyway.

When I turned on the show, they were showing the wedge sandals. The model had very veiny and unattractive feet. I remember seeing Colleen one time with feet that look like they had mud on them ( I assume it was from self tanner). Obviously not all models have attractive modeling feet. I guess that is why there are hand models, foot models, etc.

Re: The lisa show is on! Who's watching?

One word -- boring. The dress was a shapeless rag. The necklace looked like a drain cleaning snake. The shoes totally unexciting and overpriced. The tunic a stretched out t-shirt. If I saw anything presented in this show in a store, I wouldn't give it a second look. But having a camera on one item, without comparison of anything better, one can make a big to-do about anything substandard.

Borefest, didn't watch. I was watching a Modern Family marathon and flicked to Lisa's show a few times and they were still showing the same cream, never bothered going back to it.

People were commenting about her hairline, so now she covers it up.

I don't know why people were commenting on her hairline, but there are days that she wears so much hair powder she looks ridiculous. I would hate to be her, and have to powder my hairline, put in extensions, wear caterpillars on my eyes and turn myself orange every day to feel ok about myself. She was so much cuter when she started out more natural. She is now what I would call an ageing diva.
