ETA: To think people laughed at my Birkenstocks in the late 1960's! They are pretty tame today. LOL

I don't like it for me. If they are happy wearing it I have no problem with it. Just not me.

No. Not at all. We're all free to wear what we want but they're not attractive worn with pretty much anything.

The examples in these photos are not attractive, but I’ve seen some that I like. Munro, in particular, has a new model of these shoes that is pretty cool. It all depends on the shoe itself.

hideous, but the ones wearing them seem to be happy with them.
I suppose it is like any things that are worn over the decades that we got complaints about. Makes me think of what my grandparents thought of all the "hippie" clothes.
