Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I loved Stacey and Clinton w/ their “What not to Wear” Show.. I don’t think I ever missed an episode. Lol. Anyway, I was looking to seeing her line and was disappointed. It was not really fresh or modern. With people dressing up less (especially for work and many working from home) - why would people need big bow blouses w/ collars and cuffs at an addl price and sweaters w/ pearl buttons in those colors? A Ponte top I think was like $70 and then Sandra added the collar and cuffs for additional $39. Sorry Stacey - not a super debut. Maybe it will get better. 🤷‍♀️

@soozer.. I am somewhat in that range. Why would we be happy? I thought it was outdated. 60 is not old.

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I find it interesting. I am still working and don't do much virtually so I'm still purchasing work clothing. I like to watch to get tips and ideas. I often wonder when someone brings a line to a shopping channel how much Imput do the really have. I like the collar and cuff idea. I have a few collars that my mom had to change the look of her sweaters. I'm just glad to see new lines coming.

I was totally surprised by her line. I thought it would be more modern. It's very strange and dated looking

Stacy is on now but everything looks old, I would never wear that scarf thing under the collar. The only thing that looks new is her nose.

I loved WNTW though!

The comment was meant "tongue in cheek".  Honestly, I am not a fan of the Q branding of over 50 and fabulous....and I am over 50.  For some reason, Q thinks we would like this brand -- with Shawn, Mally, Sandra as hosts, and Stacy London is an over 50 ambassador.....blah blah blah

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

For everyone who thinks Stacey's line looks dated, it's right in line with upcoming trends of retro looks from the 70s-90s.  I like some of the pieces and ordered the brocade jacket.

I can see where a lot of people could dislike the styles &/or not need this type of clothing.  However, personal taste aside, there have been many posts asking for new and different styles that aren't found everywhere.   This meets those criteria.  Everything old is new again as my mom used to say.

@Tori3569  -  I appreciate new lines that come to the Q.  It's great to have more options.
