Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I caught two items, a top and pants, in sort of a slinky fabric and changed the channel.  I decided a few years back to keep my pants in neutral colors, mostly denim. navy, army green and khaki.  I go for color with my tops.

More info than anyone wants...😜

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I like Stacy and loved the show What Not to Wear....but I always thought she could use a little makeover herself...in specific her hairstyle....JMO... I have not checked her fashion out on the Q yet...I don't mind pink pants but no sequins for me.

I like Stacey, but I can't help wondering why she designed clothing that looks like grandma's drapes and sofa.

Her line does not appeal to me at all.  What was she thinking?

I watched for a few minutes and found her line to be outdated. She dressed like her line appeared. Nothing was even appealing.

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

Personally, I don't care if her or anyone's designs look like 80s clothes or any other decade.  If I like it, I like it.  To me, there's no such thing as dated or outdated.  I did not watch the show but looked online.  I like the brocade jacket a lot.  Most everything else, I do not care for.

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I ran across the show and saw a few minutes / items that I liked.

The pants that weren't too tight or too wide, the cardi, and I love the collar inserts.

Sandra Bennet looked very nice, too.

I like this fresh 'new' retro look!

Wishing this line much success.

Stacey is very excited and appreciative to be on the Q.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@Bookplate.  Her line seems a bit gimmicky with the collars and cuffs and the bolero over the trench coat.  The blouses I saw were 100% cotton which I won't buy due to the ironing factor.

However, I love colored pants including pink.

Agree 100%!  And I love the brocade jacket too.  I have a black brocade knee length coat that I bought years ago from the now defunct Fourth & Town ( was part of the gap corp).  Every time I wear it, I get many compliments.  My bff swears I'm leaving it to her in my will.  😄

Here clothes seem a little to dressy for my lifestyle. I've never seen anyone wearing those styles out here in the west.

Re: The What Not to Wear Lady

I was really looking forward to seeing her line because I really enjoyed her show.  However, after seeing what she had to offer there was nothing that appealed to me.
