I like stripes, but I'm afraid these are too much for me - too wide, too bold, overwhelming the wearer. Kind of mannish.

I like them.  They were popular in the 80's.  My daughter had several when she was in high school.

I'm a lover of stripes and thought there would never be one I didn't like, but the Rugby stripe is one I would not buy!

cute for a casual look but NOT for me.  it reminds me of a way of dressing for some women with Dooney & Bourke bags, penny loafers, a very collegiate look.  also that alligator on the clothes look.  yuck

OMG this is a blast from the past!!!

1974-1976. Rugby shirt worn with white painter pants. It was THE LOOK (middle school). I wore it then, won't be wearing it now, lol.

Rugby shirts today are worn by my boys on the pitch; part of their uniform. I think it looks best on the athletes who play the sport. : )
