Those stripes are identical in side and color to those on jail uniforms.  The only thing that keeps many women from a life of crime, is the prospect of having to wear wide, black, horizontal, unflattering stripes 24/7 for years.

I think it looks great on a young slender woman.   Like in OP’s photo.  But I don’t think it would look very good if you are an older “mature” woman, or you are on the big side, or manly looking.  IMHO, the horizontal stripes would be unflattering if you are that kind of women.  JMO,  it’s those wide rugby stripes that make you wider than you actually are.

Rugby shirts are a classic!  I like all spectator colors.
