I am on waitlist for the necklace in silver. For those that were lucky enough to get one already...do you find this piece is versatile? Does it easily go with lots of things in your wardrobe, or do you need just the right top to "pull it off"?

I find it to be versatile, however if you want to showcase it, it works best against a solid color top.

I've probably worn it 3 times, each time with different necklines and got compliments on it each time! I like it best with turtlenecks and crew necks so far.

I agree that it works best when you allow this standout piece to take center stage. I wear mine with a simple tank (solid color) or sweater and prefer to layer more than one!

Last summer I wore the gold with my Isaac t-shirt dresses and loved the look.

I was hesitant to order the fish, because I lean toward more understated jewelry. But, this is such a beautifully made whimsical piece that I can't resist wearing it. Like others have said, it's a center stage kind of necklace worn over a plain blouse, shirt or sweater--a shirtwaist dress would work, too. I think it looks best over casual sportswear.

I love the Kate Spade one. I believe it comes in red, white and blue also.
