Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

And there will be time when even OP Grace K will want to or will need to cover something.

I guess I don't totally understand the OP. First of all, she's complaining about Evine on the Q forum. And secondly, it seems like she should be complaining to the hosts and the vendor. After all, they're the ones touting covering everything, aren't they?

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

I want coverage for modesty reasons at times. When I'm doing work in the garden, I want my chest and legs to be covered to a certain degree, for modesty and sun protection. Nothing wrong with that!{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

Thanks to those who get it. Anyone can state their OPINION here! Even me. Some of you don't get it. It's not about covering up from the sun while gardening or work dress codes. Some would say I'm bragging because I don't want to or better yet don't have to cover up. To you I say, it's hard work. It doesn't come naturally. So if I'm bragging, it's because I'm willing to do the work. I'm healthy. I'm happy and I'm cover free.

FOR YOU it's not about covering up for work or hobbies, but for others it it. I didn't see you as bragging, just complaining.

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

While OP's post is funny, I do understand those that want to buy things like sandals or shoes that cover the toes and feet. Many jobs have dress codes that dictate what you can and can't wear, at work.

Although I no longer work full time I can tell you that most of the jobs I had, had a dress code. Most of the time, the dress code stipulated that you could not wear any open toed footwear. No sandals at all and you had to wear pantyhose with all skirts and dresses, no wearing shoes with no trouser socks or pantyhose on. Also no sleeveless attire. If you wore a tank top or camisole it had to be covered up. you could not wear a top with no sleeves to work unless it was covered by a jacket or cardigan etc. No sleeveless dresses at all unless a jacket is worn over it. In other words, no showing of armpits at work. Let's see what else. Oh yes and all cleavage had to be covered. If you were showing too much you got a memo and had to go visit the office manager for a review of the dress code and discussion about your clothing choices. So I had a wardrobe with shells and tanks with a neckline that came up to my collar bone.

So perhaps women that want to buy things to cover things up are still working or just have things they want to cover up in old age.

Personally, I appreciate those who cover up unattractive body parts or "personal" body parts.
