Now I've heard it all. They were showing a pair of summer sandals on Evine and said what nice COVERAGE they give. OMG. When is this going to stop? Why don't those of you who want coverage stop buying clothing on the shopping channels and just throw a sheet over you from head to toe and some paper bags on your feet? That way, everything will be covered, and for those of us who don't want coverage can shop without having to hear this ridiculous nonsense?

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Personally, I don't look good in paper bags or sheets ... unless I'm in bed. {#emotions_dlg.devil2}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

GraceK,

Your post made me laugh, but I have to agree with the others, you do sound kind of cranky. Still, I liked your post...anything that starts the day off with a chuckle is good with me.

I like as much coverage as possible, so I'm one of those people you would be irritated with.

But, I'm telling you, as time passes there are more and more things I like covered, and just a couple of years ago, I realized my feet are now among those things.

My feet have been looking like old peoples' feet, and I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise because I will soon be 68.

I like certain things covered, not so much so that others don't see, but that I myself don't have to see everything that's happening to my body and I can pretend I'm the young person I am inside.

I don't know how old you are, but either you still have time to empathize with those of us who have coverage issues, or you just have a really good attitude about baring it all.

Yes Iamstiloxox, many. Just because I repeat my protests of 3 or 4 things or people doesn't mean I don't enjoy the majority. Apparently you love coverage, Graver and Gracie. Otherwise, you'd never bother even answering my posts.

Re: The Ever Dreaded Coverage

OP, your post made me a laugh and I needed a good laugh this morning. I didn't see the show, I don't watch EVINE but I get it...lol I'm a 16/18 and I get totally fed up with the "hide this", "figure flattering", "coverge", "back fat" remarks. That's one reason why I hit that mute button so often. They just don't understand that the vast majority of us aren't built like fashion models but we're okay with that. We don't buy clothes....and especially shoes....to hide anything.

For those of you who don't want/need coverage ... why do you even buy shoes and clothing? Just walk around ""uncovered.""

Seriously - there are some places that I wouldn't go wearing open shoes/sandals.

I wonder if OP is old enough to understand what "broken record" means?
