I have always heard Jayne B. refer to this as the "Texas tuxedo."

What do you think of the name and the "double denim" look?

I like the camel color with the denim, but I wouldn't wear the same shade jeans and jeans jacket. I also wouldn't wear jeans that short, but I like the boots.

I think the coat and the boots balance out the denim on denim perfectly. I like it.

I can see the interpretation of a tux has completely gone down the drain.

That outfit is not remotely "tux" material.

Here's my idea of a Texas tux.   If I was going to a formal and a Texas tux was acceptable, this is what I expect my date to wear

I don't know how Jayne gets "tuxedo" out of that look.  Apparently Jayne has never been to Texas.

To me blue denim is boring so this matching top and bottom gets a thumbs down.    I know I am in the minority when it comes to denim.  Never appealed to me.

As for the coat, something seems odd about the shape of it.

I think it's called Canadian or Texas tuxedo referring to the notion that denim on denim is their idea of dressing up.

I'll take the coat and the handbag.

I don't know what they call it but the denim on denim look has been in for a couple of years now.  I like the look but I haven't done it yet. I like this look because it's  a sophisticated way to do it.  I'd do a camel or taupe boot because I don't like or have any snake skin boots.  I have all the other pieces and a camel fleece coat that would work.  For this winter....not a whole year from now.
