I agree.  She really has a great sense of style.  Beautiful coat on a lovely lady.

Wow!  Love the jacket, now if I was only rich.

I do not think it photographs well unless it's a close-up.

It's beautiful but she's the only First Lady that could get away with wearing it.  The matching purse is beautiful.

NY Daily News has a better picture. there must be hundreds of flowers from the tiniest daisies to the largest very dimensional hydrangeas on the back.  The clutch is of matching handmade and appliqued silk flowers, and the lining of her coat matches her dress.  I wonder if the flowers are silk.  They look like it but there are some very good polys out there that rival silk nowadays.  Although I would never wear it, I am mesmerized by the detail of each flower and how they are sewn at random so as to look original and not copies of one another.

@Nonametoday  I was thinking when  @ALRATIBA  posted about making it for $200 that the flowers on the jacket are most likely silk.

@muttmom  I actually disagree.  Although not her style, I think it would look equally stunning on Michelle O., who has the height to pull it of and not have the coat wearing her (so to speak) and I think the beautiful colors in the jacket would pop even more against Michelle's complexion.  I think she'd look great in it too.

@Pearlee

My comment had nothing to do with having the physical attributes to wear this coat. Smiley Wink

@muttmom Oh, well I couldn't tell that and so then, I have no idea what you meant.

It's not even June and I'm already tired of all these huge floral prints.

You can dress it up,dress it down, you can wear it to the pumpkin patch!

For a dollar a day for a very long time you can have it too.
