I have never cared for blazers.

@faeriemoon

I went through my blazer phase in the early1990s.  Been there, done that.

With blazers seeming to make a return for fall, this is the time I need to go thrifting. There are always tons of blazers in every thrift store I know. Have t been in ages since the lockdown, but I know there were huge purges during the lockdown so there should be a huge selection now. I prefer a s light structure, even a slight shoulder pad, and fine quality fabric....I am large busted so usually go with a less fitted style, but may try different cuts if I can score a few for under $10 each. They really can be all I need until late fall here instead of a coat. I don't like pulling out a coat until Inhave to...too constricting. I will pass on the TSV since it's unlined.

I have always loved the look of a blazer!  Love blazers with jeans, a white blouse, and boots; add a little diamond necklace.

I'm a blazer fan.  At one time they were hard to find unless you were doing "suiting" pieces.  So glad they are front and center again.

Have never had a red one like this one above.  Can't afford this either.

Not for me. Retired now, I never wore my previous blazers casually, and have no need of career clothing. This was an easy pass for me.

For those who purchased, enjoy!

I just didn't feel comfortable wearing a blazer when I taught, but in fall I usually enjoyed blazers when shopping or having lunch with a friend on weekends.

I did have come cute cotton jackets from White House Black Market I loved and my juniors and seniors wanted.

To me saying blazers are in is sort of like saying pants are in this year. . .

Regardless of what the fashion sources say we "must have",  I won't buy a blazer.  I wouldn't even accept one as a gift.  I wouldn't wear it, it would sit in my closet because that's not my lifestyle.

I love a blazer.  I own quite a few.  I own a Susan Graver Liquid Knit Fusion style already and it is sort of lined.  There is bonding adhered to the outer liquid knit so that the blazer has a structured fit that regular liquid knit clothing does not.  I really like my SGLK blazer.  It is black with a dark red rose print. I ordered the TSV in rich green.

SmileYour post cracked me up.  It is funny when retailers use marketing catchphrases such as "trending" to push sales of a certain thing. That said, it does mean that if your blazer wardrobe needs refreshing or updated, this is the season to do that because they will be out there in many colors, shapes and style variations, fabrics, and price points.
