Re: The 10 Most Wearable Trends For Fall '16

Fun thread!  I bought two plaid shirts to wear with my Lysse leggings this fall & winter.  One from Nordstrom & one from Macy's.  I looked at QVC but didn't see any.  I have a beautiful Linea long pink coat from a few years ago and a pink sweater from him as well.  Oh - and bought his deep eggplant leather moto jacket from last year.  Nothing else from this list interests me.  (Turning 55 in a couple of weeks.)

Re: The 10 Most Wearable Trends For Fall '16

Thanks for starting this thread @Chi-town girl! I have leather and plaid in my closet for winter and I purchased a plaid Pendleton coat at the end of last winter. Funny that I was going to donate several velvet items in my next donation box, so I guess I'll see if these work for me this fall/winter. I think the pink shade will look fine with my coloring, so will check that out too. Love the G by Guiliana items. Her clothes are well made. I am in my 60's and I buy more classic and casual items, but I don't like looking like my clothes should smell of moth balls either.

Chi-town girl ...Fun Thread.

Personally, the one I really like is the "Leather Weather".

I do like the idea of Black Velvet for Fall & Winter...But not in a jumpsuit.  Let's see what else they can come up with using Black Velvet?

Ugh.  I hate almost everything pictured... except for that light rose flyaway coat.  Man oh man!  I'd look good in that!

I'm sooo ready for fall.

I love this coat, but I'm sure I can't afford it.  Love the small plaid design over the shoulder.  It's unique.  Plaid was in last year too. I remember buying some plaid shirts from Gap and E Bauer.

The only "trend" shown that I care for is plaid.  I've always liked plaid, but if the whole world is going to be wearing plaid in the fall, I probably won't, unless it's in an unexpected way like the two items below (absolutely love the dress):

How can a jacket this luxurious, on-trend yet timeless, boasting such high-end detailing, be so easy to care for? The "Christy" will be your go-to blazer for fall, winter and straight through 2017 until the peonies bloom. Available in two luscious sueded jewel tones, its effortless one-button closure is flanked by sensational, body-shaping whip-stitching. Whether paired with its matching whip-stitched "Christine" pencil skirt, the "Bette" print dress, your fave boot-legs jeans or a hot pair of riding pants, you will love the attention it brings. Oh, we almost forgot. Not only can you toss this gorgeous jacket into the washing machine, you can tumble dry it too! It doesn’t get easier than that.
