A recent post showed a hooded sweatshirt lounger from Coldwater Creek and a follow up post said there was a similar item at Vermont Country Store. So I took a look. I never logged in or put anything in a cart.

Today I received a Catalog from each company. 

The other day I bought some pillow cases from Dillards. By the time I got home I had pop ups for the Southern Brand of linens that I had just purchased.

Big brother is always watching!! I can be talking about something, next thing I know- I’m receiving emails about what I was talking about.

@granddi, it's maddening....there is no privacy via social media or even purchases using a credit card. I've stopped "liking" products on Facebook and now just delete the ads. On the internet, I'm less likely to browse certain websites because I know it's going to create a flurry of ads. Plus, I hate big brother following what I do online, although there isn't much a person can do about that except totally disconnect from anything involving the internet. Even looking at an item on QVC or HSN creates more ads of that particular item or similar items on both their websites.
