The mitered top is an attempt to attract younger ladies.  It is a very attractive top for the right figure.  Not for me, but for the right age group and right size body.  I would have worn that from age 15 through 50.  Alas, my body changed sizes when I turned 55ish.

@Krimpette : If you read my post it was a generalized statement about D&Co, not directed toward today's Big Deal.

I think many, not all, D&Co. tops are the opposite of youthful and flattering, including high necklines, oversized floral prints and long tunic lengths that make your legs look short and throw off the proportions of the body.

I am not loving that top either.Its too long and looks boxy.I know there will be those who love it and find that it works well for their figure type so I apologies if my remarks seem unkind.

Today, I shopped at Christopher and Banks again and got their Essential tee's for $7.99 and $8.99.  They have tanks, short, elbow, 3/4 and long sleeves at this price....selected discontinued colors only in petites, misses and Woman's sizes.  The colors on clearance are nice.

I own over 100 of these and love them..wash in cold water, put in dryer for 2 minutes to warm them up and put on hanger to dry. 100% cotton and they last for years.

There are promo codes out there for free shipping too.  Now that's a deal!

I agree with the hidious prints with flowers in the once liked denim line.  Elsewhere some prints are smaller and less hidious

Although this top is not something I would wear, to me the top has no age attached to it. I can see all ages of women wearing this.  At least they are offering it in petites...thumbs up for that part.

I don't care for it but I've seen worse.  Some of their florals are hideous.
