If you don't want to spend a lot of money and want a tee shirt for wearing in the house or in the neighborhood, try Target.  $5 to $10, regular and plus sizes.  I picked up a couple for myself.

I really like the A New Day line. I have a lot of the long sleeved tees and it's basically my uniform in the winter.  They don't ever seem to carry the short sleeved ones, but if they are made from the same material--I'd buy one in every color.

These t-shirts, and some I purchase at W-Mart, are my day to day uniform. They're cheap and (surprisingly) last forever with minimal care. When refreshing my supply, I pick up several at a time. I also have many of the tank tops. 

My life is walking, or hiking with my dog daily (he doesn't care what I wear), gardening, errands, casual visits with friends or neighbors, etc. Haven't dressed up since Christmas. 

I don't need expensive t-shirts for my routine activities. I think most people don't. Of course, I spent most of my life in scrubs. I never had rigid dress requirements, so fashion has never dictated. But, I do like a good value and these t-shirts & tanks are great.

Just goes to show it is not necessary to spend $30+ for a tee shirt to get good quality.

@Katcat1 thanks for this post. I have been looking for some inexpensive tee shirts to wear leggings and a distressed cropped denim jacket I recently purchased.  These have good reviews on Target's website. Off to put a few in my shopping cart.

Costco also has some great "every day" clothing for the whole family at great prices, Ladies.

Checking out the clothes always happens with a Costco shopping trip. Such fun!

I bought 100% cotton T-shirts from Target by Universal Thread for $6.00. I bought 6 colors. They are very nice. I wash in cold and hang dry. They come out perfect.

I buy the mens more chest room LOL under the label Good something I forget Goodlife something like that.   One time it was the only place that had pink back in the mens ROFL
