When I look at that dress I think of the Jerry Seinfeld episode where the girl Jerry was dating wore a dress similar to the Ted Baker dress. That was the only dress Jerry saw her in.

I like it - because it is simple. And I think you won't get tired of it.

I personally would not wear it as it not my style to cutesy for me and something a young child would wear.  I just don't find it appealing, sorry.

I wore dresses like this to school back in the 70's.   

i would not wear that style now.. only because I've been there and done that.

if you didn't have the opportunity to wear that style back in the 70's, you deserve a chance to wear it now.

I love it in both colors.  Peter pan colars are back in a big way this fall and so are bows at the neckline.  Very much in vogue this fall.  I would purchase either of these in a heartbeat!!

It's a nay for me.  I'm not a fan of bows after age 10 and the neckline is unflattering.

So fun to read everyone's replies. Thank you!  I love the dress but it's not at a price I would feel comfortable at the moment paying. Does Ted Baker ever go on sale?

I think it could be a good choice for a serious job interview or worship service. One does not have to show everything all of the time. The flared skirt is a nice tiny touch of flirty/feminine.
