I stopped in Talbots this morning. I wanted to get a tee to go with my new Parrot pants. 

They're having a sale today on their Pima tees, 30% off. I bought the 3/4 sleeve, bateau neck in three colors. Regularly $29.50 (which I think is a great price for the quality). On sale for $20.50. And then I had a $25 reward certificate. Out of pocket, I paid $41.50 plus tax for three tees. I was thrilled. 

It doesn't show on their site in any sort of "headline" that the Pima tees are on sale, but they are.

I have never bought anything from Talbots, but just got their catalog and saw some nice tops. I'm thinking of placing an order.   Most of my tees come from Lands End.  Is Talbot's quality better or about the same as LE?   Thanks.

@twinsister- I don't have a ton of experience with Lands End, but am familiar enough. Talbots quality should be the same or even a little better. 

I'm a big fan of the Pima cotton tees. 3/4 sleeve is my preferred sleeve length.

@twinsister I am also going to say the quality is the same or a little better for their t-shirts.  I got their catalog yesterday.  Once again I dog-eared every page.

@gidgetgh   I bought a lovely white short sleeved Pima tee top at the 40% a full price item deal a couple of weekends ago (where you could use it store-hopping) so I'm good at the 40% off. But thanks.
