Someone posted on here that Talbots sale was starting today.  When I look at their website it sounds like it's only if you join Classic Awards.  I'm already a member.  They're also having 60% off of their clearance items.  What I want is a new pair of jeans.  Am I correct that if you're already a Classic Awards member there isn't a sale price?

@NickNack- there is a code you have to put in to get the 25% off.

I can’t post the code here, but try calling them and asking for it. It was on the mailer they sent.

I’m not venturing out today, but I’ve already placed three online orders.

I used the one reward certificate I had, two hefty gift cards and then the 25% off all. And I assume the 100 bonus points.

One of the items I ordered is their Every day leggings. I just love them. I ordered another pair in black and heathered gray. Good deal on those.

I didn’t realize Talbots had leggings. I will have to check and compare. Thanks

@Twins Mom- they have a couple different styles but I love the Every Day leggings. The waistband is thinner than the other style. $29.50 if I remember correctly.

Re: Talbots Sale Question

[ Edited ]

Talbots did me a nice favor today.

I bought a purse, at full price, on January 12th. Their price adjustment policy is 14 days, so I’m just a few days past that (4).

I haven’t taken the tags off yet.  I called customer service and asked about a price adjustment and I told him I knew I was a few days past. And I told him that I knew I could return it to the store and buy it again.  He told me he’d adjust the price as a courtesy to me. I really appreciated it as I didn’t have to get out in the cold and Schlep to the store and return it and re-buy it.  I got a $34.80 adjustment.

@gidgetgh  I just love the way T's does business.  Few places do business so customer-friendly any more.  The manager at the Talbots where I go most has done some very, very nice things for me over the years.  They make me feel like a very valued customer. and they show me they appreciate my business.

Thanks @gidgetgh.  I got a card in the mail from them today.  I'm going to the store tomorrow.  I haven't bought their jeans in a long time and want to try them on.
