I read about the new Flawless Five Pocket Jeans on an over 40 blogger site and decided it was a good day to try them at 25% off.

I really want to see the flare, but they are not available until September.  I ordered the Ocean Blue in Bootcut in both Curvy and Regular to see how they fit.

I also ordered Yoga capris as they were on sale and had really good reviews.

Anyone getting anything this weekend?

Me, too.

Its the only place to find black dress jeans anymore.  I hope I like these and that they eventually come in black.

Don't forget to use Mr. Rebates if you're ordering online.  I feel like it helps offset the S&H.

I used to love going to the store, but most of what I want the past couple of years have been online/catalog exclusives, so I just order online and return to the store.

A Talbots' rep told me that they are having their jeans event soon and they will be on sale.

I could use a few new pairs of jeans, but I promised myself no more shopping until October.  Finding a good fitting jean is always a challenge, and I would like to try these.

I hate to sound like Debbie Downer here, but I tried the Flawless jeans a few weeks ago. I thought they were horrendous. Heavy and baggy. I love their jeans (the 80% cotton. 10% poly, 10% spandex kind) but I didn't care for the Flawless jeans at all.

Jeans are tough.  In years past, I used to pick a day and go to the big mall and try on all the various lines that worked for me in the past (Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein) and try a ton of jeans on until I found the right one.  I'd bring my shoes with me and get down to business, total focus on this one thing.  It's like looking for a job.  LOL

With free shipping now, I tend to buy a bunch from my go-to lines on line and then try them all on at home.

These jeans are on sale starting today at $69.  I got them yesterday with the 25% off for $67.12.  So I finally timed something correctly ;o)
