An extra 15% off clearance merchandise Sat. and Sun. only.   I don't know whether the store is offering this to everyone who comes in or not.   

@gidgetgh  I made Premier status again for 2018.  YAY free shipping and faster accumulation of points!   I have definitely spent more with T's since I became Premier.  I order a lot more online than I would if I had to pay S&H even though I much prefer to tryin things on in the store.   But still, there are online exclusives I've taken advantage of that I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

@Pearlee   I got one too . Then later I got an email thanking me for shopping at a Talbots store ,naming the one I had shopped in ,and inviting me back

Yeah, I've gotten those emails after shopping in a particular T store.  Seems like I get those when I buy a lot in the store - more than I usually do.  Anyway, I agree it's a nice gesture.  I also got a thank you at year-end from T's for being one of their best customers (although I'm sure many others here have me beat at that!

I went in Talbots yesterday.  They had a new pink checked cotton shirt that I loved.  It's brand new so I doubt it will go on sale anytime soon.  It's $69.50, so I will wait for a sale.  

@Pearlee  Do you know when they will have their next sale?  I used to know about Talbots sales but don't shop there much since I am no longer working.  I do get their e-mails but am not familiar with their sale schedule.

@NickNack  It seems to me as if they have some sort of sale starting Thurs. each week at least through the following Wed.  Some sales are better than others though.  The big clearance sale - when prices get super cheap - is the Red Hanger sale which occurs only twice per year, one on now as the winter clearance continues.

I got the coupon also. 

I ordered one of the on sale cardigans in wineberry today. Had to get it from a store in Albany, GA. They’re shipping it to me on Monday. 

My only “thing” with the red hanger sales is that they drag on forever. It seems like we just finished the last one and here we are again and it will go on and on. 

By this time, I’m ready to move on to spring and summer clothes. I surprised myself by ordering a winter cardigan. 

I have several gift cards burning a hole in my pocket from Christmas gifts. And I just cashed in some Discover points and have a few gift cards that will be coming soon. 

I think I’ve cooled on the pink polka dot cardigan. I’m not going to pay full price for it and they haven’t discounted it at all. And the more I look at it online the more I’m ambivalent about it. 

I bought a ton of spring and summer clothes last year. I don’t need anything this year so I’m really going to try and think through purchases.
