This is what I bought today. In the duster, I had to go to the petites. The misses was way too long, both in length and the sleeve length.

Re: Talbot ladies

[ Edited ]

@gidgetgh   Very nice!  As  you know, I love almost anything with stripes and those are two nice choices.  (oh yeah, you needed more striped tops!  LOL)

I totally get your buying a petite in the duster.  Although I'm only 5'3", my body is not cut out for petites; even when I need petite for pants length, then the rise is often too short for me.  That said, In long sleeved Talbots items I usually have to buy petites, because of the sleeve length.  If the sleeve length is only 3/4, then I go for missy sizes.   But sleeve length is what causes me to buy a lot of petite clothing at Talbots when I buy missy almost every place else.

@gidgetgh

Thank you for your report!  I have a houseful coming tomorrow for Easter Dinner and I cannot get to the store until Monday.  I did get my catalog in the mail this morning and I have been perusing it while waiting for my dinner rolls to rise.

I hate to hear that the lemon tee is boxy.  I am busty and boxy is not a good look on me. I am not heavy and have slim hips but boxy makes me look BIG. And if the lemon embroidered pants are thin that would not work either.  Since they are white........

I’ll make a trip over to the store since the 30% will be going on and try them but I may be saving myself some money!

I really like the tops you did get!

I was correct....kind of.  Someone pat me on the back, LOL.

Today only, 25% off entire site and an additional 20% off most items (but not new arrivals).

So, a great deal on the non new arrivals.

I'm going to order another of the High-Low sweaters.  I LOVE this sweater.  My favorite Talbots purchase in quite awhile.  So soft, great weight to it.  If anyone is ordering, it's generously sized.  I didn't size down, because I like my clothes to be loose, but it's definitely generously sized.

@Teddixat - that's kind of a strange question, to be honest.  We all mention shopping there and ordering from them online, on multiple threads.  So, yes, they're still in business.

@gidgetgh. I honestly haven’t been to a mall in a long time and the Talbot store in the mall Century City closed. I only presumed they may have gone the way of many other stores. In looking at the pictures posted the clothes are very stylish. No offense was meant
