I like the dress and I don't know, I think the shoes kinda work with it.  The shoes are pretty from the front and the heels are a little different.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

I'd have to do some serious fasting before putting this dress on.   Probably best suited for the Nicole Kidmans of the world...

Like the dress, except for the length of the sleeves and hemline.

The  shoes look clumsy. Aside from all this, I for the most part like it.

I don't care for the shoes or the dress. I would walk like a mule wearing those clunky heels.

I'd love the dress if it was shortened a bit, and worn with less clunky shoes.

I have a LBD that’s similar- knee length. I bought it on sale at Lord & Taylor around 1993/4. Still fits and I still wear it. Black wool knit.

It’s a style you can wear forever.

BeforeI retired, it was frequently my Monday dress! Black tights and shoes.

I recall even back in the 60s I had a similar one in a black woven wool fabric. Somewhere around here is a picture of it.

I think the length is awkward and dislike the shoes.  The dress has the potential to look stunning.
