Re: Sweatpants, and Sweatsuits…Ad Nauseum…Still???

I wore out my one pair of sweat pants. I used to come home from work, many days, take off my work clothes and put on those sweat pants. Very comfortable. I miss them and have been actually looking for another pair but can’t find a cotton set of sweat pants! Or even mostly cotton. I did find one for about $60! I am not paying anything like that for something that I sit around the house in. and, yes, I still call them sweat pants! I don’t know when they became “jogger pants.” I don’t jog but then I don’t sweat while wearing them either. Really, we called them warm up pants back during my more athletic school days.
$60 for sweat pants! Outrageous!
How about some nice clothing like from back 10 years ago! Clothing that was actually fitted and had seaming! Not stuff that hangs off a person like a sack! We don’t want to look like hookers. We just want nice, well made clothing, not bags and sacks. Is that impossible now that clothing is made on the other side of the world?

Personally, I don't think of sweatpants when I put on a pair of my leggings or joggers! I'm retired and 72, and no longer find jeans to be all that comfortable. I rarely go anywhere to need a pair of Talbots pants - it seems to be a popular place to shop though - just not for me.

As we always say, there's plenty on the Q and other outlets to meet our needs! Thank goodness we have the choice!

@jannabelle1 if your jeans are uncomfortable time for a new brand maybe.  No reason for jeans to be uncomfortable.  Too many iterations you could try if you want.  However, maybe it doesn't matter that much to you!  Woman Happy

Everything looks like a sack! What is wrong with these clothing manufacturers?! Do they really think that we all sit around the house in dumpy clothing looking like slobs?? Or is it just easier and cheaper to sell loose clothing that takes no skill to sew that is made out of cheap material that they charge you a fortune for??!!!

Let's not even talk about how much they want for the ugly same ol, same ol.  Geez
