I like a slightly longer sweater, but nothing that clings to your rear. This is a good example of a sweater that both draws the eye up toward the ruffles and isn't too fitted:

Style & Co., comes in several colors. It may work for you because of the length and it is looser around the hips.
The NYC Collection cardy below comes in black, grey, red, and blue and is very versatile.
