The entire line is hideous, IMO.

"This has got to be the most awful sweater I have ever seen! Looks like the moths have gotten at it."

Another said her "dogs nails get caught in it" when they jump up on her.

Another said it's "always getting caught on things" even door knobs.

Several..."cheap" and "overpriced."

Of course, the fashionistas love it.  They'll wear theirs "with holey jeans."

@Foxxee

Oye! you (figuritively of course) buy a SWEATER full of holes and then want to be indignant that it gets caught on things??!!

That deconstructed look for knitwear was popular about 10 or so years ago.  I saw several versions of it at the time at various magazines and some YouTube videos.

There were sweaters and some shawls.  Just google "deconstructed knits" and you find lots of it.  It never seemed to take off with the general public.

One pattern that's still around is the "Les Miserables" scarf by Cynthia Parker.

ETA:  It's extremely easy to create that look .... just drop some stitches!

It looks like someone was teaching their kid to embroider.

I’m not a fan of clothing that is distressed or has word affirmations on it. Not my style at any price.

Ladies!  That sweater is now on clearance.   Now just under $60 and she is stating that a lot of people took their Christmas photo with it and it's a piece of art. hmmmm......

IMO, perhaps they used this sweater in their holiday picture so relatives would think they needed money....

Yikes, not for me.

@CAcableGirl2

If you knit - you can make something like that for about $20 or less.

Better yet - carefuly mutilate one of your old sweaters.  Surface embroidery is easy.
