Susan Graver's Velvet/knit vest

Did anyone else buy this vest, besides me, what is your opinion?

 

When I received it, before even opening, the package was so heavy, it felt like a jacket inside, & I know I did not buy a jacket from QVC!  I opened it and it was the vest, it is so heavy, I haven't even bothered to open it up, I am going to have to send it back it is just too heavy for me being in the south!

I purchased the navy blue version and received it yesterday.  Fits well and although I won't wear it in the warmer months, I think it will work in the winter months of Dallas ----- I'm always cold in the office so layers like this are important to me.   I'm keeping mine.
