I just buy 'butterknit'.

Liquid knit , is to thin.

I have a few liquid knit dresses and never experienced any problems washing them.

ITA!  Unfortunately, Susan doesn't do much "butterknit" anymore.  Do most people prefer the " liquid knit" or is "butterknit" more expensive to manufacture?

I've been shopping SG fashions since she was SG fashions & I can not recall ever having that problem...perhaps it came in contact with a perfume that caused it?

Yes, that has happened with the black top.   My red doesn't do that.
