That's just for the "look." It's an accessory. I make crochet pieces like that to throw on over a plain shirt and pants or simple dress to jazz up the outfit.

I loooove that look for fall and winter! Since that's boot season, and most of my boots have 2+ inch heels, that makes me tall enough (IMO) to pull off the look.

I like long sweaters but not fond of the long vest. Sweaters redeem winter .

so scrumptious. i hate the snow, even though i live in the northeast, and the only thing that gets me through snowstorms are my yankee candles, chicken noodle soup, my heated blanket and super warm sweaters.

Some of them I would consider 'duster' cardigans, as they have the same classic lines as duster jackets.

I like and wear sweater coats, if they're not too crazy-long.

I love long sweaters! They do have to cut right otherwise they can hug the behind and be not as flattering!

I'm a huge fan of nice sweater coats. My favs are from Anthropologie or Free People. I own quite a few.
