@lolakimono ... I think it is a cute outfit.   But for a person my age (64)  ... the shorts are WAY too short.

Instead of the stripe top, I would choose this cami from loft for the outfit.

I think you nailed my problem with it! It's a little costumey. If the top is replaced with the cami recommended it would improve greatly. Or just lose the hat!?

I think it is pretty basic, really nothing special. But, I see it on someone in their 20's or 30's.

I like all of it except the style of the hat.  I agree that the shorts are too short.  Most women prefer that 7 in inseam.
