I don't understand what the deal is with all the "summer sweaters" that the Q vendors are showing. And the long and 3/4 sleeve tops and t-shirts. It's summer! How about some elbow length or short sleeves? I live in the Pittsburgh area and it can get very hot and humid here. The last thing I want to wear is long sleeves or an acrylic sweater. You only need so many tops or sweaters to throw on if the AC is cold!

Different needs for those in different climates.

I wear light weight sweaters all summer.  Both cardis and regular sweaters.  I have hyperhidrosis and wearing sweaters is good for me and they don't make me sweat any more than other fabrics.  Love 3/4 length sleeves too along with short sleeves and elbow length.  We are all different and have different needs.  But, I prefer cotton sweaters and don't buy a lot of acrylic anything.

It can get super hot and humid here too, but I get cold easily.  I only wear tank tops when I'm doing my fitness walks.  Otherwise it's 3/4 sleeves.  I don't wear shorts either. In the house, I always have a blanket within reach and a sweater, sweatshirt, or long sleeve pullover on 80% of the time.

There are plenty of short and 3/4 sleeve tops if you just search this website.

You're so right!

I was just on and saw a sweater and said out loud, "Why are they showing sweaters going into the summer season?"

Then I realized, our economy isn't so great right now and maybe sweaters didn't sell for spring time.  So they are trying to sell them to people who will need them on the beach at night.

It's all long sleeves, sweaters or the opposite extreme, sleeveless.

Where are the summer clothes?  Is anyone out there actually designing for Denim & Co.?  The clothes are awful and the prints worse.

I was about to start a thread asking this question too!  What is with all of the "summer" sweaters?

I was at the beach on Thursday and it was pretty hot & humid. I was sweating. I can't imagine wearing anything that resembled a sweater knit even if it's 100% cotton!

I don't care if the AC in some places is set to be very cold.   I would wear a short sleeved summer top and bring a cardigan or light jacket.  It's more comfortable and one can easily take it off when you go out in the heat again.

Just the thought of a summer sweater makes my skin crawl!

What bad economy? As for long sleeves and sweaters, we live in a country that has different temps, humidity,  etc., depending on where you live. Living in the PNW, people wear sweaters all year long. Go to the coast and it can be 50 degrees and rainy even in August.
