I would love the print in a pencil skirt and that is an outfit that I would wear to work.  Or, I would wear that print in a shirt and wear colored chinos.

Is this a look that you would wear?

I'd like that print done up as a top.  Isn't that skirt what used to be called a dirndle?  I wore that style back in HS.

Just now right this minute thinking back a hundred years...........I would see this photo and go out, searching the fabric shops looking for a similar print.

And sew the skirt in a weekend.

Of course, fabrics were much, much less expensive in those days...........and I was much more ambitious.

Now, it would be time-consuming and fairly more costly to find a similar print.  And retrieving my sewing machine from somewhere in my basement would be a major problem.  

I'd rather just order one from Talbots.

This is a beautiful light summery paisley. Often when I think of paisley my mind goes directly to dark colors.

I lke the look on the model - but it's not "my look" so I wouldn't wear it.

I think it's very pretty, just not for me. Too much material in the skirt for me. But I do love that print.
