My local Stein Mart has a great collection of shorts.

The Attyre brand comes in a Bermuda length.

 

I was there this week and picked up a cute embroidered denim short that hits above the knee and a longer length gauzy gray pair of shorts.

A few years ago, I settled on lightweight ankle ength pants. I’m too short for capris or crops and not comfortable wearing shorts except on vacation in a hot location. Don’t want to bother w/ self tanning legs.  

 

How much difference can there be in “cooling” between capris & ankle length?....maybe 7” on my legs. I can wear the longer length everywhere..even in the evenings to dinner w/ a change of shoes.
