I don't even want to touch suede during summer heat. My apartment gets way too hot to even consider it.

c wonder had some suede ones w coins. I think fabric would be better for summer. I don't think I would wear suede in the summer during the day when it was very hot. For a cool evening, yes. Boots, absolutely not! Ick

@Mindy D wrote:I just saw some suede sandals I would wear. They are in a summery style. I don't know if they are treated for wet weather though. If the style says summer then it is fine if the material isn't commonly used that time of year. It is similar to unbuckle, which is common in summer.
@Mindy D, I'd stuff them and scotch guard. I just wouldn't wear on rainy days on purpose.

I'm scratching my head over this one. If you can wear sandals in summer, why couldn't you wear suede sandals. How the heck could a pair of strappy pink sandals look like winter...lol Yes, way back in the day, we wore suede only in fall and winter and they didn't even make suede sandals. But that was many years ago. Suede is fine for warm weather. My younger daughter has a pink suede summer skirt that looks darling on her. It's whisper light, unlined and the hem has cut outs. I've seen her wear it with white tank tops and flip flops.

I would do sandals or a belt. I think a jacket is just too heavy for summer.

I'd wear suede sandals in the summer but probably not suede pumps. The very nature of sandal style just automatically makes them air-conditioned.

Suede sandles maybe. Suede clothes, no. Makes me hot just thinking about it. Living in Las Vegas. lol

If you're referring to those flower vionic wedges, sure I'd wear them in summer. The style isn't one I'd wear in winter. Too open for the cold.

I had a gorgeous pair of fuchsia suede pumps at one point. You can bet I wore them in summer.

I've seen plenty of beautiful of suede sandals that can only be worn in summer. I'd also wear suede pumps as long as they weren't too heavy and clunky and so wintry looking. A pair of delicate pumps or ones that just look all-season can be worn all year. It's a you know it when you see it kind of thing.
