Re: Stutterheim ....world's best raincoat?

Years ago, I purchased a rubberized rain coat from John Wannamaker. It was 100% waterproof and I wore it for years.  It finally died,  I have never found another one like it. It was expensive and worth every penny,

I own two London Fog raincoats, one with a zip out liner and one without.  I don' t wear them often anymore. They are both classic trench coats.

Just today, I received a new Storm Racker jacket from Lands End.  It is very casual and looks nice with pants.  I ordered it because it has a hood.  A hood is important when it rains.  I walk the dogs and don't use an umbrella.  A good raincoat is a must.  I hope my new one works for me.

My only complaint with rain coats is that the rain runs off of the bottom and gets my pants wet.  I might have to invest in waterproof pants too,
