I have seen that done a lot in Boden catalogs, Maybe it's more popular in the UK? I don't see anyone wearing stripes and florals together.

I love, own, and wear many striped pieces. I only own a few florals items; just not my favorite print. I don't like large bold florals or colorful garden prints. I own a few abstract floral pieces in mostly neutral color combos like black, navy, white, cream. I don't think I'd wear my stripe and floral pieces in the same outfit.

I love prints, florals large and small, stripes and plaids and I do mix them together.  My mother graduated from an Art Institute and was great in making and designing clothing, patterns, etc.  Always had alot of fabrics around my house when I was growing up and they facinated me.

As I have said in posts I love color and prints and I love playing "clothes".  I am pretty good with knowing how to mix tonal colors and how to mix prints. 

I also do just plain same color top and bottom depending on where I am going although I am happiest with a mixture.

It is not a look I can wear.  However I have seen many women pull it off well.
