Re: Strappy sandals....do you wear them?

@San Antonio Gal

Oh Goodness No.  No way could I wear those anymore.  Gone are the days I could climb El Sol pyramid in 5-6in platform shoes.  I love all  my Yellowbox sandals tho.  Some have higher heels than others.

I had to re-login and this was the first thing saw.  I thought this was the Beauty forum and wondered why we were talking about shoes.

I guess I could, but I don't own any, especially like those pictured.  They would probably be painful for me to pull off. Cat LOL

Nope, never have worn strappy sandals nor shoes with heels. It's enough for me to walk around on flats without tripping. Even though I live in the desert where it's hot I rarely wear sandals because of plantar fasciitis. They just don't give me enough support so I wear sneakers everywhere.

Re: Strappy sandals....do you wear them?

I think Kate is one of the most attractive celebs. She has that natural girl-next-door look that I find attractive and she looks fierce is those red sandals.

Stuart Weitzman filtered/photoshopped/enhanced Goldie's legs for this photo op. So while she wears those sandals well in the picture, all we have to do is Google her in a swimsuit to see reality (or look at her hands).

As for me, my size 9 feet don't look cute in delicate strappy sandals. I prefer wider straps to be in balance with my BIG feet.☹️

The blonde beauty, 77, showed off a puffy pout while making a duck face as she clasped a healthy looking purple smoothie.

The Oscar Winner rocked a stylish black puffer jacket, fitted black pants and an edgy striped shirt tied around her

Re: Strappy sandals....do you wear them?

@San Antonio Gal   Haven't been able to wear heels since the mid-80's.  All the sandals I wear year round have wider straps and definitely a cushioning sole.

As for Goldie's face -  compared to a huge number of the women that age I know personally, she's lovely.  It's tough to find a woman from her Laugh In era who wanted to stay employed in TV or movies who hasn't had work done.

Her face doesn't give away her age -  her legs suggest aging though.  She wouldn't pose with those legs and an adult daughter similarly dressed if she wanted really to avoid showing her age, imo.

Look at the legs on both gorgeous! @San Antonio Gal  Goldie looks like she has had some filler. It’s a trend in Hollywood.

I don’t know how anybody can say Kate will never be as beautiful as her mother. Kate is gorgeous. A natural beauty.

Kate is not a 'natural beauty'. She's been under the knife more than once.

Re: Strappy sandals....do you wear them?

As with so many things, once upon a time I did.  I still wear heels, just not strappy ones.  A lot of them the straps are not in the right spot for my feet, and inevitably my little toe either gets squeezed to death or they pop out! Either scenario not ideal, so I gave up on strappy anything.

Re: Strappy sandals....do you wear them?

I can't wear strappy sandals. They're not comfortable for me, whether they are flatter or higher heels. I don't like the feel of straps of material, especially very thin straps, across the top of my feet and toes. The higher ones wouldn't give me enough stability when walking. They look good on others with spring outfits, but I just can't wear them.
